First look at the hinge of OPPO’s new foldable phone
The biggest problem of foldable phones is the hinge mechanism that allows the phones to be folded. Giants such as Samsung, Xiaomi and OPPO received great criticism about the hinge on their first foldable smartphones. Pete Lau also showed the hinges of the new OPPO foldable phones in his post yesterday, “What do you think it is?” he had asked. Making a statement later, Lau explained that this is the hinge of OPPO Find N.
In his statement, Lau said that they have been working on the hinge system and other details for years and they will please their users. The founder of OnePlus also announced that they are currently working on solving the crease in the middle of the foldable screens that we see even on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Lau also shared a community link where users can also specify what they want from a foldable phone.
The names of OPPO’s new phones have also appeared
Last month, it was claimed that OPPO’s new foldable phone will be called Find N Flip. Yesterday, in addition to this claim, OPPO’s applications to the European Patent Office for new phones emerged. According to the documents, OPPO will introduce two foldable devices this year, and their names will be OPPO Find N Fold and Find N Flip.
The phones are expected to look just like Samsung’s Z Flip and Z Fold models.
