In November of last year, Pixar and Porsche announced that they were working on a new project. Sally, who appeared in Pixar’s popular series Cars, would appear with the joint work of the two companies. We finally saw the fruit of this work.
In the movie Cars, which was released in 2005, Sally was a character that gave Lightning McQueen, our main character, a different perspective on life. The Pixar team was inspired by the Porsche 911 series when modeling Sally at that time. Now Sally has become “as real as it can be”.

First of all, the color of the vehicle is not included in Porsche’s own color scale. For this reason, the Pixar and Porsche Sanderwunsch team first produced the color we saw in the animation. The color we saw in the animation was captured with the color called Sally Blue Metallic. Moreover, the model’s similarities with Sally are not limited to this. The tattoo detail that appears when the rear wing is active has not been forgotten either.
The car, which is essentially the Carrera GTS, has rims similar to those on the Carrera 996, but these wheels have been increased to 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Sally Carrera logos appear on the B column of the vehicle.
Since we could not see the interior of the vehicle in the film, the Porsche team chose an interior design dominated by the colors on the outside of the vehicle. Apart from the blue interior upholstery, the plate opposite the front passenger seat is another striking detail. This plate says “Sally Special 001/001”. This shows that the vehicle is the only one of its kind. In addition, where it normally says driving mode, there is the phrase “KACHOW! MOD” as a reference to Lightning McQueen.
There is the Cars logo in various places inside the vehicle. In addition, under the engine hood, GTS powered stickers draw attention. The 3-liter 6-cylinder engine under the hood, producing 480 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque, enables the vehicle to accelerate to 100 km per hour in 4.1 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 311 kilometers per hour.
The 911 Sally Special will be sold at an auction for charity. Proceeds from the sale will go towards Girls Inc., which helps young women in the US and Canada, and refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine.
