Things seem to be going quite well on the PS5 front, which has been sold in close quarters since it was released worldwide on November 12, 2020. On the other hand, after the first party games released, there is a serious game portfolio problem on the console.

In addition to productions such as God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West developed by Sony specifically for the console, many games developed by other companies have been delayed to 2022. In this article, we will take a look at the PS5 games that have been postponed.

GhostWire: Tokyo

Developed by Bethesda Softworks, the creator of legendary series such as Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and Doom, GhostWire: Tokyo will meet players in 2021. However, as a result of the disruption of the development process, the production was postponed to the first months of 2022.

Let’s share a lot of information about GhostWire: Tokyo: Sony signed an agreement for the game to be exclusive to PS5 for a while before Bethesda was sold to Microsoft. In this sense, a company owned by Microsoft will not be able to release the game to Xbox Series X|S for about 1 year.

Horizon: Forbidden West

The Horizon series, which was offered exclusively to PS4 at the time it was released and whose first game was offered to PC players in the past, continues with Forbidden West. The game, which was marked 2021 for the release date 2 years ago, will meet with PS5 players on February 18, 2022.

Gotham Knights

Rocksteady Studios, which has created an unforgettable trilogy by almost giving birth to the Batman series from its ashes, has decided to embark on a different adventure, this time in Gotham City.

Set after Batman’s death; The game, in which we can manage four different characters, Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood, would be released in late 2021. However, the game’s development process was prolonged and was delayed to 2022. The exact date when PS5 players can experience the game is not yet clear.

Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo, a production that Sony trusts against Microsoft’s Forza, is also one of the postponed productions. Gran Turismo 7, which is expected to meet players in the last quarter of 2021, will be presented to PS5 owners in the first quarter of 2022. Unless there is a new postponement, the game will be available on March 4, 2022.

God of War: Ragnarok

God of War, one of the most legendary series in Sony PlayStation history, ends with Ragnarok, the adventure of Scandinavian mythology. The production, which will probably set off Kratos to another myth with its finale, will meet with the actors in 2022. It is among the rumors that Sony may postpone God of War: Ragnarok to 2023.

These were some of the games that were delayed to 2022 on the PS5 front. So what do you guys think about postponing the games one after the other to 2022? Do not forget to share your views with us.
