Xiaomi announced a series of new products, including the foldable phone Mix Fold 2, as part of the event held in China. Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, which has a different design than the Mi Pad 5 Pro that appeared last year, was also introduced. Here are the features and price of the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro with Snapdragon 870.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro: Snapdragon 870 and 10,000mAh battery
The design of the Pad 5 Pro has been streamlined compared to the previous Mi Pad 5 Pro. By narrowing the bezels and increasing the screen-to-body ratio, Xiaomi takes an iPad-like “full-screen width” approach. Pad 5 Pro, which comes with 2.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, has a 12.4-inch LCD panel.
Pad 5 Pro, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, offers three variants of RAM and internal storage: 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 128GB.
There is a triple camera setup on the back of the tablet. There is a 50 Megapixel main sensor and two 2 Megapixel depth of field sensors. On the front, it houses a 20 Megapixel selfie camera.
The tablet, which comes with a 10,000mAh battery, also supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi claimed at launch that it reached full charge in just 68 minutes. Pad 5 Pro, which comes out of the box with MIUI 13 interface, has a quad speaker setup.

How much is the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro price?
The starting price of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro was announced as 2799 yuan ($ 415). Depending on the options, it will be offered for 3299 yuan ($490) and 3999 yuan ($593), respectively. The Pad 5 Pro will be a China-exclusive tablet for now.
