According to the latest news, NASA plans to send the iPad to the Moon for testing. The reason why NASA included the iPad in the launch system is that the tests on the Amazon Alexa voice assistant are carried out inside the Orion spacecraft. Thus, it is claimed that voice commands will transmit information about the spacecraft faster.
This system, created by the cooperation between Lockheed Martin and NASA, is called ‘Callisto’. In this way, there will be a customized hardware and tablet in the middle of the Orion console. In addition, the WebEx video conferencing service will also prefer Alexa to broadcast video and audio from the control center.
The space agency aims to have a spatial chat with Alexa with the new system. Although Artemis 1 is said to have all the technology to return to the Moon, the new system is interesting to many.
