Ja Rule was among the celebrities participating in the NFT market with the collection Black is Beautiful.

Rule, along with its business partner Herb Rice, announced that it will make donations to universities in black culture such as Jackson State University, Morgan State University, Hampton University, Spelman College and Morehouse College. The famous rapper’s entertainment company ICONN Media will also donate the same amount.

Each school chosen was said to have a special bond by Rule and its business partners. Rule also stated that they will work with The Paint House in this business. Rule’s daughter is a Hampton graduate and Rice’s wife is a Morgan State graduate. Other members also have special ties to these schools. These are the schools we chose for these reasons, Rule said in an interview with Bloomberg. It’s just a spark, here we go. “I pray that others join this movement,” he added.

The Painted House Believes In This Movement

“The Painted House includes helping communities of color with access, education and insight to empower the next generation of creative minds,” he said. In addition to the $50,000 donation, Rule will make an effort to improve the arts in these schools.

Rule said about this issue:

It’s important for our black children to take pride in going to HBCUs

This collection by the Florida artist contains 1000 illustrations and depicts the confusion of being black in America.
