US-based technology giant Apple released the fifth beta of the upcoming operating system iOS 16 the other day. This beta version brought with it an important innovation. So much so that the charge level can now be displayed on the screen again. However, there is a problem. Apple’s returning feature will look a little different in iOS 16.
There are those who know; In earlier versions of iOS, the battery status was just to the left of the battery symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. However, this feature was removed with the iPhone X. Because Apple, which switched to the notched design, could not fit the battery percentage into this area. This will change again in iOS 16. Apple will display the battery percentage again on the screen. This time, however, it will appear inside the battery symbol.
Here’s what iOS 16’s battery percentage will look like!
In the photo above, we witness what the battery percentage of iOS 16 will look like. Accordingly, the battery icon will no longer be in a decreasing structure. The battery symbol will always look full and its percentage will appear on it. When Low Power mode is turned on, the color will turn yellow and the display will still be the same. When the phone is plugged into the charger, a tiny icon will appear on the left side of the numbers showing the percentage.
If you are using the beta version of iOS 16, you can experience this feature. To do this, go to the Settings menu and click on the Battery option. After activating the “Battery Percentage” option, you can start to see the battery percentage on the screen. Finally; It should also be noted that it is not clear whether the feature will come to the stable version.
In the meantime, it should be noted that the battery percentage feature will not be available on the iPhone XR and ‘mini’ models.
