Russia-based automobile company Lada introduced its first electric car, e-Largus, at an event it organized. Although it is still in the concept stage, the car, which is announced to be released next year, will look familiar when you see it. Let’s take a closer look at Lada’s first electric car together.

The Lada e-Largus is actually an electrified Dacia Logan. Technically renewing the first Logan, which was launched in 2004, Lada has turned this light commercial vehicle into an electric car. We say technically renewed because the design of the e-Largus is generally the same as the Dacia Logan. The company has been content with closing the grille to reveal that the vehicle has an electric motor.

Introducing Dacia e-Largus

Lada e-Largus, built on the platform named B0, has batteries placed under the seats. According to the company, these batteries also offer fast charging support. According to reports in the Russian media, Lada’s first electric car will have versions with 5 and 7 seats. According to industry sources, the battery of Lada e-Largus will offer a range of 400 kilometers in ICE standards.

Lada officials did not make a detailed statement about the technical features of e-Largus. In addition, we did not see the interior design of the vehicle. To be frank, it is possible that the interior of this car has been renewed compared to the original Logan and equipped with new technological features. Otherwise, the interior design of a car released in 2004 cannot compete with today’s vehicles. According to Lada, the launch next year will reveal all the features of the e-Largus.
