Announcing that it has completely canceled the HBO Max special Batgirl in the past days, DC has thus proven that the operation in its cinematic universe is not very good. DC, which is an undeniable fact that it is far behind its main rival Marvel, announced an important plan today.

Warner Bros. CEO Daviz Zaslav officially announced what the plans for the DC Extended Universe will be in the coming years at a meeting with investors. Zaslav shared what the plan covering the 10-year period is and the status of the films that are currently preparing to be released. Zaslav’s explanation was as follows:

DC will imitate Disney’s success with Kevin Feige:

“We did a reset. We structured the business. It will be a team with a 10-year plan focused solely on DC. It’s very similar to the structure that Alan Horne and Bob Iger [Disney Presidents] put together very effectively with Kevin Feige at Disney. We think we can build a long-term, much more sustainable growth business from DC and as part of that we will focus on quality. We will not release any movie until it is ready…

The focus is on how do we make each of these movies as good as possible overall? DC is something we can do better and we’re focused on that right now. We have some great DC movies ahead of us. Black Adam, ‘Shazam!’ and ‘Flash’. We are working on all of these. We’ve seen them and we think they’re great and we can make them even better. Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy do that.”

Warner Bros. The CEO’s only statement was not limited to this. At the same meeting, Zaslav shared that the HBO Max platform will also be renewed and merged with Discovery Plus:
