Continuing to offer new features to its users, YouTube has come up with a feature that has been requested for a long time, especially by mobile users. With the new feature, users will be able to zoom in on any point of the video they are watching with a single finger movement.
With the new ‘pinch to zoom’ feature listed on the new features page in the testing phase, you’ll be able to zoom in on the video up to 8x when you zoom in with two fingers. You will also be able to scroll through the image with a finger after zooming in while the video continues to play.

What should you do to use the feature?
To take advantage of the video zoom feature that YouTube has started to test, the first requirement you must meet is to be a Premium subscriber. If you are a YouTube Premium subscriber, you can start using the new feature by following the steps below:
- Access YouTube’s testing features page by clicking this link.
- Click the ‘Try’ button in the ‘Pinch to zoom’ feature.
After you join the test group to try the feature, you can use this feature until September 1.
