In a news we shared with you a few days ago, we mentioned that scientists are doing a research on space trash and that within the scope of this research, a space trash will fall on our head in the next 10 years and there is a 10 percent probability that this trash will kill us. An incident that occurred while the research was still hot revealed the extent of the danger.
Australian farmers have found a bunch of “strange stuff” spread across their land. The farmers, who did not know what to do in the face of their lives, informed the authorities. As a result of the investigations, it was understood that these strange materials were space junk. An astrophysicist examining the trash has announced that the scrap from space may belong to SpaceX flights.
There were pieces reaching 3 meters in length!
Inspecting the wreck, Brad Tucker shot a video on the subject and made important statements in the video he shot. Mentioning that some of the space debris exceeds 3 meters in size, Tucker said that the pieces are from the SpaceX mission called Crew-1, which was carried out in 2020. According to Tucker, parts of the trunk of the Dragon spacecraft had fallen to earth years later.
Australian news source ABC went to the scene to investigate. A farmer named Mick Miners said, “I’m a farmer, what do I tell NASA?” used the phrases. On the other hand, there was no statement from SpaceX or the US government on the subject. Brad Tucker states that this silence will not last long because SpaceX or the US government may take action to take this garbage. According to the astrophysicist, the parties will make a statement sooner or later.
