Aimed to make life easier
The Xiaomi MiGu headband is said to not only allow users to control their smart home products with the power of their minds, but also track fatigue while driving using their brain waves. The developers of the MiGu headband claim that the device has three points that help receive electrical signals.
It is stated that the product can read the user’s EEG (electroencephalography) using the potential difference between the points. The engineer of the project stated that they hope to enable everyone to enjoy a more comfortable smart life through a more natural way of interaction. While it is not yet certain whether the headband will be commercialized and offered for sale, the product looks quite interesting and could draw a lot of attention if the company decides to commercialize it.
