Finally, some new features of the chat platform were revealed by WABetaInfo. These features include innovations that give group administrators more control over WhatsApp groups.
Groups are authorized to delete messages
The features that emerged in the v2.22.17.12 beta, which WhatsApp currently offers to a very limited test group, are quite interesting. In the update, which is expected to be made public soon, group administrators will be able to delete a message in the group from everyone.
With this feature, let’s say if you are an administrator in a crowded group, you will be able to delete meaningless, spam, etc. messages sent to the group. Although this feature promises a more compact group structure, at least in theory, it can invite chaos if not used carefully. Group administrators should use this authority carefully. On the other hand, users will be notified when administrators delete a message.
Another feature being worked on by WhatsApp is a chatbot that shares announcements within the app. Among the announcements that this bot will make, there will be announcing new features, what can be done to improve the WhatsApp experience, and usage tips. These features are expected to be available to all WhatsApp users very soon.
