How will Samsung repair mode work?

When the user turns on the Repair Mode from the Battery and Device Care menu in the Settings, the phone will reboot and then personal data such as photos, videos, messages, accounts will not be accessible, only the applications installed with the phone can be used. After the phone is repaired, the user can get fingerprints/patterns etc. it will exit repair mode with security option and will be able to access personal data again.

Will be available with software update

Samsung plans to offer the repair mode first to the Galaxy S21 series, and then to some models with a software update.

The South Korean tech giant is constantly adding functions to its mobile devices to protect and secure users’ sensitive information.
