Among the PlayStation games, we can say that the God of War series has a special place. While the future of the sequel Ragnarok was announced with the arrival of the new generation consoles, the delay that appeared at first upset the fans. The reason for the delay of the game, which is expected to be released in 2020 under normal conditions, has been determined.
Actor Christopher Judge, who voices Kratos, explained that procrastination is at the center of it. While the successful actor made statements on the subject, he did not neglect to apologize to the fans.
God of War delayed due to surgery
Stating that he had surgery in August 2019, Judge stated that Sony helped him a lot. The famous actor, who made a statement on Twitter, added:
I need to be frank. God of War: Ragnarok has been delayed because of me. I had back surgery in August 2019 and I could hardly walk. Both hips have changed. I also had knee surgery. Despite all this, they waited for me. They never said to me, ‘Who do you think you are?’
Continuing his explanations, Christopher Judge also praised the developer studio Santa Monica. The successful actor is quite happy with the studio’s protection:
Santa Monica did not provide any explanation as to the delay and what caused it. Studios are scum, but this company should give us hope from head to toe.
Stating that he is completely healed now, Christopher Judge announced that he is looking forward to the new game. Expressing that he is very pleased with the work the team has done, Judge stated that they will definitely make the players happy. In addition, the successful actor did not neglect to thank all his fans who supported him after the process.
God of War: Ragnarok, which will be released next year, will welcome PS4 and PS5 players. Santa Monica Studios, which received full marks from the critics with the game released in 2018, is also quite ambitious for the new production. Especially the story of the production, which is curious, has very high expectations in the game world. Let’s see if Sony can have a successful period again with God of War: Ragnarok. We’ll wait and see.
