In a content we shared with you yesterday, we mentioned that the popular video game news platform IGN has started a competition to determine the best game in history. The finalists of this competition, which started with 64 games and reached the final stage, were God of War and GTA 5. The platform has now officially announced the winner of the fierce competition.
In the posts made on the platform’s social media accounts, it was stated that IGN readers determined the best game in history. Saying that God of War left GTA 5 behind in the finals of the 6 competitive stages of the competition, the team thus determined the best game of all time.
More than 1 million 138 thousand votes were cast
When we look at the details on the survey page, we see that more than 1 million 138 thousand gamers participated in this election. While 60.3 percent of the votes went to God of War, GTA 5’s vote rate remained at 39.7 percent. It is not known whether Rockstar Games cares about these results, but the difference is not insignificant.
