Almost everyone happens that we leave our phone in the hands of our relatives to show some photos. However, there are always some images that we do not want them to see by scrolling through the photos. This could be a birthday present for a friend or a wedding dress that a bride-to-be doesn’t want to show off to the groom. Or your more special photos may be in your gallery.
Apple brings new photo hiding feature to iPhone models
Apple is now working on a new photo hiding feature on iPhone models on iOS 16 to prevent this situation. Now you can keep your photos hidden behind a password or FaceID. So you will be able to keep some of your sensitive photos away from prying eyes and quick fingers.
To use the feature, after entering a photo that you want to be protected in the Photos application, it is enough to enter the options section expressed with ‘three dots’ in the upper right corner of the screen and tap the Hide part.
When you want to check your photo again, you can select the Hidden section under the Utilities section at the bottom of the screen after entering the Albums tab in the photos. You will then be able to access your images with the help of FaceID or a password to access the hidden album.
Of course, since the system in question is the beta version of iOS 16, when we come to September, the final version of the software may work differently. So let’s say in advance that our guidelines here may change as soon as September.
If you want to try the OS 16 beta, you can sign up for the public beta test via Apple’s website and download the beta profile to your iPhone. Make sure to back up your phone before installing the beta version. After all, this is a Beta version and there is always a possibility that your data will be lost.
If you are willing to completely reset your phone, we recommend you to use this Beta version. Or if you have a second device, you can use the iOS 16 Beta version on this phone. The new iOS 16 will include many innovations when it is released in September.
