ASRock, which first stepped into the computer components market and then the graphics card market while being a motherboard manufacturer, will now enter the gaming monitors market. The first two models were seen in certificate approvals.
ASRock Phantom gaming monitors
The first of the two monitors recorded under the ASRock Phantom brand is the ASRock PG34WQ15R. The 34-inch monitor with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels uses a VA panel. Reaching 165Hz refresh rate with DisplayPort, the product also prevents tearing with AMD FreeSync Premium.
Declining interest in LCD monitors
The ASRock PG27FF monitor, on the other hand, is a little more cost-oriented. Offering Full HD resolution on its 27-inch IPS panel, the product can output 165Hz over both HDMI and DP. Again, FreeSync Premium feature is preferred.
As it is still in the certification process, it is not known when the first ASRock gaming monitors will be available, what features they will have and what price tags they will carry, but a promotion is expected before the end of the year.
