A group of scientists working in the USA collaborated with a company called Noom, which helps regulate people’s eating habits in the country. Analyzing the retrospective data of 1,350 Noom customers as part of this collaboration, scientists found that people who use “analytical language” are more determined to lose weight. Moreover, these individuals were in a better position than others in not abandoning the diet program.
