Although everyone on the Apple side is focused on the iPhone 14 series, which is expected to be introduced in September, and the iOS 16 update, which will be available to everyone in the same period, the work for iOS 15.6, which has been tested for a few weeks, has finally ended and is available to all users.
Released in September 2021, this is the sixth major update to iOS 15, while offering a few minor improvements, the focus is on security. With this release, the TV app offers options to restart, pause, rewind and fast forward a live sports game in progress.
iOS 15.6 update is out
This update fixes the problem that causes a full warning in the Settings menu even if the device’s storage is not full. The update notes shared by Apple are as follows;
- Fixes an issue where an alert in Settings saying that storage is full was displayed even if the device has room on storage
- Fixes an issue that could cause Braille devices to slow down or stop responding when navigating text in Mail
- Fixes an issue where a tab goes back to an earlier webpage in Safari
As you can imagine, the iPadOS 15.6 update was also presented to iPad users. In addition, a new version of tvOS has been released, as well as the watchOS and macOS operating systems. To install the update, all you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update.
