Samsung is preparing to introduce its new generation foldable phones. The South Korean company will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 models at the Samsung Unpacked event on August 10, 2022. Just days before the launch, the press images of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 fell on the internet.
Galaxy Unpacked date revealed
The new model will not bring any major design changes. The foldable phone is expected to be thinner and lighter than the previous model. Also, the screen crease will be less obvious compared to the Fold 3. However, the hinges may also be overhauled for extra durability.
What we know about the Galaxy Z Fold 4
Press images show that the device will debut in at least three color options, beige, blue and black. Incoming information is that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. There is also talk of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 will carry a foldable 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, there will be a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz. Samsung’s new foldable phones, which will be introduced next month, are scheduled to go on sale just a few weeks after the official announcement.
