It wasn’t long before Apple’s M2 processor was announced. While the adaptation work of the M2 processor, which was introduced at the WWDC 2022 event held in June, is about to be completed, the tests are apparently finished. So much so that leaks regarding the release date of the company’s new MacBook Pros have begun.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on the M2 versions of the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16-inch models. According to Gurman, Apple will likely keep the design and features of the 2 computers it redesigned last year to add MagSafe charging, more ports and better displays. So it seems that the only thing that will change is the processor.

Claiming that it is likely that M2 versions will be added to replace the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, Gurman claims that Apple will launch new MacBook Pros in the fall. But he adds: “Given the ongoing supply chain challenges, it is difficult to predict exactly when new models will hit store shelves.”
