According to a teaser image leaked by Evan Blass, Samsung’s next big “Unpacked” launch event will be held on August 10. The image shows that date alongside a blurred image of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable, which was leaked by Blass and 91Mobiles earlier this month.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to be one of the few devices to be released at the event. In addition, a new Galaxy Fold device called Galaxy Fold 4, which was leaked in May, is also in the rumors. Looking at this device and the Galaxy Flip 4, it doesn’t look like there will be any major design changes to Samsung’s foldable lineup this year.
The news suggests that we may see the next generation of Samsung smartwatches, consisting of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, alongside the new phones. Images of these smartwatches also leaked earlier this month, confirming that neither of them will physically feature a rotating bezel this time, showing that a feature that fans loved on previous Galaxy Watch devices was abandoned.
The date of Samsung’s upcoming launch on August 10 was also previously leaked by Jon Prosser, who stated that the devices could go on sale on August 26.
