The iPhone 14 Max – or so some claims iPhone 14 Plus – could be one of the most interesting devices in the iPhone 14 lineup, as it’s an entirely new model rather than an upgraded version of one of last year’s phones. However, according to a recent leak, it is possible that this device will be delayed.
Reliable analyst and leak source Ross Young claimed in his tweet that the production of this model is behind schedule. The tweet is only visible to Super Followers, but is stated to have been seen by 9to5Mac.
According to Young’s supply chain information, panel shipments for the iPhone 14 Max are reportedly “far behind” where they should be. Young doesn’t go so far as to say whether the iPhone 14 Max will be delayed as a result, but considering Apple probably plans to announce the iPhone 14 series in September, and if this information is correct, the company doesn’t have much time to ramp up production of the iPhone 14 Max.
In another previous news, we can say that this delay claim is not the first time that an iPhone model believed to be the iPhone 14 Max is claimed to be behind the schedule. Later in May, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the situation was under control, but that may have changed if Apple hasn’t been able to fix the problems in the meantime.
