Google Authenticator is removing a feature it launched a while ago with a new update. The feature that keeps it secret until users tap it to reveal two-factor authentication codes on the platform is no longer in use.

Update is available

Late last May, Google Authenticator rolled out a feature where it hides codes with the “click to reveal PIN” description. The feature, which Google introduced to reduce code clutter, required users to tap to see the codes of their registered profiles.
