A new feature of the world’s most popular microblogging platform Twitter has emerged in the testing phase. This feature will allow users to send private tweets. Well, if our tweets are going to be private, what’s the point of sharing? That’s not exactly the case.
Twitter’s new feature is really confusing. So much so that when you send a private tweet, that tweet does not appear on the feed page and profile. Users will be able to access the said shares only through links. If users who reach the share respond, the hidden tweet will begin to appear on the search results page this time. In fact, it will be possible to reach this share, but it will have to go through roundabout ways.

Twitter spokesperson Layal Brown, who made a statement about the feature in the testing phase, said that this feature is still in the early development stage and they are still trying to learn what the feature can do. If the private tweet feature does not receive enough attention or is not functional, we may never meet this feature.
