Hasbro announced that it is collaborating with The New York Times on Wordle: The Party Game, the board game adaptation of the popular mobile word game. Designed to be played with multiple players or teams, the popular game can now be a part of fun conversations with Wordle: The Party Game.

Each round of Wordle: The Party Game will begin with a player determining the secret word. Other players will be given the right to guess six times, as in the online version. Players who make fewer attempts to guess the hidden word will receive fewer penalty points. At the end of the game, the player with the least penalty points wins the game.

The game will be played with three Wordle boards, a hidden word board for the word maker, and an eraser. There will also be green and yellow clues to be placed on the letters, as in the mobile game. Thus, players will have an experience just like in the digital environment. The game; It can be played in four different modes: classic, timed, fast and team.

The new board game goes on sale in the US for $19.99. Wordle: The Party Game is available for pre-order starting today on Amazon, Target and Hasbro. Wordle: The Party Game is expected to hit stores in October, the first anniversary of the original mobile game’s release.
