Netflix introduced a new series called Sex/Life to users in June. As can be understood from its name, the production, in which obscene content was rife, attracted great attention from the subscribers. Acting on this, the platform gave approval for the second season of the series and started its work.
The most talked about issue of the Sex / Life series was a scene in the 3rd episode. In this scene, the character named Brad Simon was taking a shower in a gym. Netflix showed Simon’s penis for a few seconds at that time. Netflix subscribers, on the other hand, were shocked by the penis they saw. Some viewers even questioned whether prosthetics were used during filming. Netflix has now made a statement about that famous scene.
20 million viewers replayed that scene
Making a post on its official Twitter account, Netflix stated that according to statistics, that scene, which takes place towards the 20th minute of the third episode, was replayed at least once by 20 million users. According to Netflix, the first season of the series was watched 67 million times in total. This statistic was enough to reveal how much attention the certain scene of the series received. It should also be noted that there are even TikTok streams created for the scene in question.
Netflix’s obscene content-focused series is an adaptation of BB Easton’s 2016 book “44 Chapters About 4 Men”. The series focuses on a woman named Billie Connelly, who distances herself from her husband and remembers her ex-lover more. The second season of the series seems to attract at least as much attention as the first.
