In early 2021, LG offered a first look at the LG Rollable model, as shown above. The device featured an expanding screen that could transform it into a larger, more tablet-like canvas rather than the traditional form factor.

Shortly after LG officially introduced the Rollable model, a report emerged claiming the project was cancelled. Although LG denied this report, a few months later it shut down its entire smartphone business, including Rollable, and canceled all devices in development.
The LG Rollable has remained mostly a mystery since then and has only been seen in a single animation from LG. A recently shared video shows the LG Rollable in action and shows us how it enlarges the device’s screen.
