Launched into space on December 25, 2021, after many years of waiting, the James Webb Space Telescope began its mission to present us with what has not been discovered in space until now. As the telescope started to make its first observations, the images obtained during those observations were also eagerly awaited. Today, the expected day has come and the James Webb Space Telescope shared its first color photograph with humanity.
In the event held with the participation of US President Joe Biden, NASA presented the first color photograph taken by the Telescope to humanity.

What is the mission of the James Webb Space Telescope?
The James Webb Space Telescope will be serving with more advanced equipment than the Hubble Space Telescope to explore the unknowns of the universe. The telescope’s main purpose will be to trace the first light in the universe. However, the telescope will be responsible for exploring billions of years of evolution of galaxies, the birth and life of stars, planetary systems, exoplanets and the origins of life.
