After the introduction of the Xiaomi 12S series last week, all eyes were turned to the Xiaomi 13 models. The processor, which will be powered by the smartphones that first appeared in the IMEI database in the past months, has also been determined. Finally, the design details of the devices began to become clear.
Xiaomi 13 will adopt the display design of the Galaxy S22
Known for its leaks in the industry, Ice Universe shared some remarkable information about the screen design of the Xiaomi 13 series, which is expected to be introduced soon. Accordingly, the panels of the smartphones will use a narrower design in which the four frames are symmetrical, as seen in the Galaxy S22. They will also come with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rates.
Apart from this, Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models are expected to be introduced in the first place. It is stated that later variants such as 13X and 13S will be added.
On the processor side, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be available. The processor, which will be produced by TSMC with 4nm technology, will use 1 ARM Cortex-X3, 2 ARM Cortex-A720, 2 ARM Cortex-A710 and 3 ARM Cortex-A510 cores. The graphical interface will include Adreno 740.
The launch date of the phones will follow a similar path as its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12. According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will launch later this year, in November or December. Models that will go on sale in China in the first place will also come to the global market a few months later.
