Realme GT2 Explorer Master, which will be among the smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, will draw attention as it is the first phone with LPDDR5X RAM, according to the company’s statement. Images shared via Weibo confirm that the GT2 Explorer Master will have a metal frame and will come with a 10-bit display that supports HDR10+, refresh rate up to 120Hz.

LPDDR5X RAM offers higher (8.5 Gbps) speeds compared to LPDDR5’s 6.4 Gbps. The new standard also consumes 20% less power. Currently, Samsung was the first company to start producing such chips that went through the 14 nm manufacturing process; now the US-based Micron is also involved.
Realme GT2 Explorer Master’s screen will have over 16,000 automatic brightness levels for true eye protection experience. At the bottom of the front panel, there will be an ultra-thin bezel of only 2.37 mm.
Realme is expected to introduce its new smartphone next week.
