Revolut will facilitate payments through Stripe’s existing infrastructure. The London-based firm may use the platform in more regions in the future as it looks to expand into markets including Latin America, India and the Philippines.

Eileen O’Mara, Stripe’s EMEA Growth Manager, said:

We’re excited to power Revolut as we develop, scale and help people around the world get more for their money.

San Francisco-based Stripe, whose software is used by millions of businesses to send and receive payments, has recently partnered with international transfer company Wise Plc and buy-then pay-now provider Klarna Bank AB.
