Some claims that Rockstar Games will remaster its big games such as Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4 have managed to stir the game world. Despite the rumors that have become quite popular in recent months, it has been stated that Rockstar has no new remastered plans.
GTA 6 obstacle to GTA 4 and RDR Remastered
Rockstar Games, which had a disaster with GTA Trilogy and disappointed its fans, may have stopped the Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4 remastered projects. Allegedly, if the expected success from GTA Trilogy had been achieved, the new Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4 would have been presented right after.
It is stated that Rockstar Games has been putting these plans on the table for several years, but shelved it again due to the failure of GTA Trilogy. It was also said that the company wants to give more importance to GTA 6 and spend its financial resources on the new open world game.
Although there is no official statement from Rockstar regarding the remastered projects, this is a bad development for players waiting for Red Dead Redemption and GTA. It is possible to say that Rockstar at least took lessons from GTA Trilogy and listened to the criticisms of the players.
The latest claims also prove that the developer is completely focused on GTA 6. Recent leaks about GTA 6 have revealed that the company has been working on this project for about 8 years (since 2014). It is also said that Rockstar has made the biggest transfer of funds ever here. Moreover, the amount mentioned is exactly 600 million dollars.
In GTA 6, a map 5 times the size of its predecessor GTA 5 will be waiting for us. We could finish GTA 5 in 30 hours. The story of the new game will last at least 75 hours.
