WhatsApp is working on various features to improve the user experience. According to the report, Meta is updating the time limit for messages deleted from everyone in the messaging app. Website WABetaInfo, which tracks the latest WhatsApp updates, reported that the update will be rolled out for some beta users.
New time limit
The duration of the messages that are currently deleted for everyone is 1 hour 8 minutes 16 seconds. With the update, this period will be increased to 2 days and 12 hours. WABetaInfo also shared a screenshot of the feature.
WABetaInfo confirmed in a trial yesterday that the duration was indeed increased to 2 days and 12 hours. It has been reported that this feature is active on some Android phones with WhatsApp version 2.22.15.8 and it will be available to everyone with the update to be released soon.
A feature that will allow group admins to delete any message in the group will be added to the WhatsApp application very soon. Finally, a feature has been added to the platform that allows users to mute or message specific contacts in a call.
