Smartphone giant Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro and 12S Ultra models on July 4. Shortly before the announcement of the new phones, the technical specifications of the Xiaomi 12S Pro were shared by the company.
Leaked features confirmed
In a new post on Weibo, Xiaomi confirmed that the device will come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 platform, a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO panel that offers 2K resolution, 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate, 522ppi pixel density and 1,500 nits brightness. Also, although there is no official confirmation yet, it is thought that the new device may also be powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, based on Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun’s Weibo post.
In addition, the new phone, which will host a 50 MP Sony IMX707 main camera, 115 degrees 50MP ultra-wide-angle and 50 MP telephoto sensors, will support 120W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. Thus, the Xiaomi 12S Pro will offer a full charge from 0 to 100 in approximately 19 minutes.
