The Apple marketing chief claimed that Samsung is ripping its technologies out and wrapping them in bigger screens.

The Wall Street Journal documentary chronicles the history of the 15-year-old iPhone. In the documentary, Apple chief marketing officer Greg Joswiak, when asked how Samsung’s competitive products impacted Apple in the early days of the iPhone, replied, “Samsung ripped the technology behind the iPhone and surrounded it with a big screen.” He replied with his words.

Considering that Samsung packs a lot of technology into a single model, this probably upset Apple a lot. All Samsung does is “copy iPhone technology and put a bigger screen around it,” Joswiak said. He claims it’s a bad copy.
