Major motherboard manufacturers are lowering their sales expectations for 2022. Asus, which sold 18 million motherboards last year, has reduced its target to 14 million this year. Gigabyte, which sells 13 million motherboards, has a sales expectation of 9.5 million.

On the other hand, the sales estimate of 40 million in the motherboard market decreased to 30 million. Both the market and the manufacturers expect a cut of around 25 percent.
