A new Israeli military technology is claimed to be able to “see beyond walls” using an AI-based tracking system to distinguish between moving and static targets behind walls. It is stated that this technology is designed for use by the military, law enforcement and aid workers in disaster relief. When the Camero Xaver 1000 is held up against a wall, it can produce high-resolution images of objects behind a wall.

Requiring little or no training to use, this portable device can penetrate anything from thin plasterboard to reinforced concrete, according to Camero Tech. It can detect individual body parts and whether the target is an animal, an adult or a child, and it is possible to use the device to locate people within a building.

As with all military technology, little is known about how the Xaver 1000 works. It has a 10.1-inch screen held against the wall you want to see inside, and a foldable antenna surrounding it. Camero says it uses artificial intelligence systems to track the patterns behind the materials and determine the layout of the room as well as the items inside, but that’s all we have right now.
