SHIB is now considered a donation
A Florida-based Church announced in April 2022 that it will accept three major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. As we reported as Kriptokoin.com , the Church recently announced that it will accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a donation during the year.
The first Miami Presbyterian Church became the second Church to accept cryptocurrencies as donations, after a Mississippi-based Church that accepted cryptocurrencies as donations last October. Founding president of the Christian Transhumanist Association, Rev. Dr. Christopher Spotlight announced to the community via tweet that the Shiba Inu has been accepted as a donation.
Christopher Benek said in a statement after the announcement:
It is our hope that through our financial education and advocacy we can teach people to be generous, both within the Church and around the world. So that we can all do only good things every day. So, in other words, it’s not ultimately about the amount of the gift – it’s about the intention behind it.
Florida-based Church opens the door to more companies for cryptocurrencies
