With Samsung Knox, the wallet that offers high-level security and encryption also supports fingerprint readers. Since the data is stored in an isolated environment, it is resistant to physical and digital attacks.
Another remarkable feature is that it can store digital car keys. The digital keys of the BMW 1-8 Series, X5-X7, iX, Hyundai Palisade, Genesis GV60 and G90 models released as of July 2020 can be stored. More vehicles will be added to the list in the next period.
Although Samsung Wallet does not support crypto assets, it can track the firm’s assets on platforms such as a blockchain wallet or cryptocurrency exchange. Samsung Wallet was launched in the USA, Germany, France, Italy and Spain in the first place. Driver’s license and student ID support will also be available towards the end of the year.
