Meta revealed a futuristic looking VR glasses concept in the metaverse promotional video. This VR glasses, which looks quite different from the model the company calls Quest, draws attention with its thinner structure than the Cambria, which will be released soon.
Meta can break new ground in VR glasses
Meta’s new model, which looks more advanced than both VR glasses, caused great excitement. There is no explanation from Meta about the production of these glasses yet. With these images, Meta seems to have shared a clue about how metaverse technologies will look in the future. Along with
VR glasses, fingertip sensors were also revealed. Thanks to these sensors, the positions of the fingers can be determined quickly with great precision. It will also help provide haptic feedback in the metaverse universe.
Meta periodically shares videos that take a brief look at the metaverse universe. Touching on different topics in each video, the company offers us clues about how the metaverse universe could be. The shared videos reveal what is possible with VR glasses and fingertip sensors.
For example, students participating in the metaverse universe will come together in virtual classrooms. Teachers will be able to explain the lessons better with 3D virtual objects. Just like in the video, a cell division will take place virtually in front of students.
On the other hand, a Medical student will be able to practice on a virtual patient with VR glasses and fingertip sensors. In this way, students will have done it hundreds of times. This type of training can be very helpful to medical students before they go into practice.
Another achievement of this education model is to see historical events in place. Students who go to the Ancient Roman era in the Metaverse universe will be able to see Julius Caesar one-on-one and examine the events as if they were taking place in front of him.
Many things seem possible with the Metaverse universe. Of course, we need to wait for a while for the technology to reach this level. So what do you think about the Metaverse universe? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
