World-renowned fraudster Anna Sorokin (also known as Anna Delvey) enters the world of NFT.

Sorokin stepped into the world of NFT with a collection called “Rediscovering Anna” as a way to connect with his growing fan base and attempt to change his story so that he is not a “scammer”. Sorokin said:

“I am very excited about all blockchain technology and my NFTs are not NFTs in the traditional sense. The sole purpose of these NFTs is to establish personal access with me. I see it as a way for me to connect with my fans.”

Sorokin’s NFT owners will receive personal items and drawings from Sorokin during his time in prison. Additionally, there will be 10 randomly printed NFTs that will give each owner the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with Sorokin, and three platinum edition NFT holders will have the chance to meet him face to face.

The project is also a way for Sorokin to use his voice for a more legal purpose and shine a light on the immigration system. The Russian-born scammer, who is a German national, is currently detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement for overstaying his visa.
