Samsung had an incredible success with the Galaxy S20 FE device in 2020. Introduced months after the standard S20 family, the S20 FE attracted attention by offering flagship features at an affordable price. Having achieved serious success against OnePlus Nord and Pixel 4a devices, Samsung stated that it will introduce the FE (Fan Edition) model every year. However, last year there were serious allegations that the Galaxy S21 FE could be canceled. The S21 FE was not eventually canceled, but the device debuted in January 2022 and was not as successful as the S20 FE. It looks like Samsung is considering canceling the FE series.
Samsung can completely cancel FE models
Following the success of the S20 FE, Samsung also introduced the Tab S7 FE. Samsung, which wants to invest heavily in FE models, may have changed its mind after the failure of the S21 FE. Known for its sources close to Samsung, Sammobile states that the Galaxy S22 FE has been canceled. According to Sammobile, the device, which should have the code name SM-S900, is not found in any database of Samsung.

With the flagship market becoming different, it seems like Samsung will completely cancel the FE series. Having released the S series with 3 models, Samsung may perhaps transform the entry-level S23 model into a new generation FE device. What do you think about Samsung canceling FE devices?
