Although we had the first glimpses of iOS 16 last week, the system is currently unstable. Since iOS 16 has not been fully released yet, iOS 15 is currently accepted as the most up-to-date standard. Apple does not immediately stop development of previous versions after announcing new versions. That’s why iOS 15.6 has been in development for a while, and the update in the Developer Beta process has entered a new phase.
iOS 15.6 Developer Beta reaches its third phase
A Developer Beta process is underway for iOS 15.6 to be compatible with all currently released App Store apps. This process usually has four stages, with updates for developers being released at each stage. Thus, the developers; it not only tries the features early, but also optimizes its applications. Now that we’re in the third phase of the Developer Beta process, there isn’t much time left for the iOS 15.6 Beta that anyone can download.
Since it’s been two weeks since the second phase was released, we can expect phase four to arrive two weeks from now. After that date, we will start counting the days for iOS 15.6 Beta. Since the update in question was also released for iPadOS, we can use the same expressions for iPads. If you have an Apple Developer Account, you can download the Developer Beta on the devices you use your account with.
We’ll have to wait a bit for iOS 15.6 to be fully released. Since there is not even a public beta released at the moment, we have a process that can take up to three months. Although details about the content of the update are not clear yet, we do not expect major changes. Apple is keeping the major changes to iOS 16.
