Next generation update of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 has arrived: new DLC for RE: Village has been announced

Good news came from the popular game series Resident Evil series, published and developed by Capcom.

Next Generation Update to Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7

During Capcom’s presentation, the next generation update for Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 was announced recently. In addition to the announcement, those who own the game from now on can download the update for free from their PS5 or Xbox Series.

There are no extra fees. The PC patch of the game is also available. This new update brings ray tracing, 3D audio, high frame rate and next-generation DualSense features.

Apart from these updates, there is good news for the last game of the series, Resident Evil Village. A new DLC for Resident Evil Village has been announced. Released on October 28, 2022 as The Winters expansion, it will include a new story-driven chapter for the game, a third-person mode for the online Resident Evil game Resident Evil Re:Verse, and the Village.
