US-based technology giant Google has added a new feature to one of its popular services, Maps. This feature, which will please users, can show the amounts to be paid on toll roads. In this way, users will be able to know in advance how much they will pay for which route and act accordingly.
The feature added to both Android and iOS versions of Google Maps is the kind that will make users’ work easier. Because a user who opens Google Maps and determines a route will see how much he will spend for toll highways from now on. What’s even nicer about the feature is that it can instantly offer an alternative route, though longer, that doesn’t include toll roads.
It can be closed if desired
Users will be able to use the “do not show toll roads” option in the application when they do not want to take toll roads. In this way, all toll roads on the route will be closed. The feature currently displays the prices of toll roads in the USA, Indonesia, India and Japan, one by one. However, according to Google, this will change in a very short time.
Google has brought important innovations to Maps recently. One of them was the feature of displaying the air quality of the region. However, users can now give points for a place they go. It is also possible to see how crowded a place is on Google Maps. Recent work by Google developers has made the Maps service much more functional.
