Microsoft continues its success on the game console and Windows side with subscription services. The company allows users to play hundreds of productions with Xbox Game Pass, which is launched as the Netflix of video games. Finally, the company introduced the Project Moorcroft system, which was developed for Xbox Game Pass and provides early access to games.

What will Project Moorcroft offer Game Pass subscribers?

Microsoft’s reason for introducing Project Moorcroft can be explained as embracing independent developers in the industry. Because the new system will allow 25 million Xbox Game Pass subscribers to access demos of independent game developers. In this way, users will play new productions early. At the same time, developers will make their own performance evaluations and make their products available to wider audiences.

Project Moorcroft’s release date is unclear. While Microsoft stated that the system will go live next year, it refrained from giving a clear date.

Microsoft’s statement on the subject is as follows;

The program will begin implementation over the next year, with a focus on providing more opportunities for indie developers around the world to create excitement for their games.

Participating developers will be able to see how their demos are performing, and the rewards will allow them to take their creativity to Xbox and reach new audiences with Game Pass.
