Samsung Display, the World’s Largest OLED Display Manufacturer for small and medium-sized panels, announced the World’s First 240Hz OLED Display Panel developed for laptops. The South Korean company has already started mass production of the panel. This indicates that we will soon start seeing these screens on laptops.

The company’s first 240Hz OLED panel for laptops, 15.6 inches in size and QHD resolution. The screen, which has important values such as 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2 ms response time, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, looks very assertive with true blacks, wide color gamut and low blue light emission. While OLED panels are already known for their extremely fast response times, now adding a 240Hz refresh rate means immersive gaming on laptops with this display.

Samsung Display’s 15.6 inch OLED panel will debut with the MSI Raider GE67 HX. Equipped with the Windows 11 operating system, the high-end gaming computer has Intel’s 12th generation Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. The screen is expected to be included in laptops of other brands later on.
