Jack Dorsey and Jay-Z are getting ready to launch Bitcoin training course in New York.
Block CEO Jack Dorsey and world-famous rapper Jay-Z have partnered to fund Bitcoin education. The course, which will be given free of charge, aims to educate the people of New York about Bitcoin.
The training program titled “Bitcoin Academy” will be led by Najah J. Roberts and Lamar Wilson of Crypto Blockchain Plug.
According to the Bitcoin Academy website, the program will allow communities to be empowered “with knowledge” and will remove barriers to entry to Bitcoin for residents.
Considering that Bitcoin is not yet widely used to buy essential products, it is not very possible to gain relevant experience using Bitcoin. However, Strike’s partnership with Shopify along with Lightning Network technology makes Bitcoin payments popular.
The Academy’s lectures will be delivered both online and face-to-face from 22 June to 7 September. Participants will be offered free MiFi devices and smartphones.
Within the scope of the program, there will also be a “Crypto child camp” for children between the ages of 5-17.
